The HSP began with the Summer Session which is still held every Summer at a different Sponsoring School. The HSP has grown to include the J-Term, which is a single course held in January, the Doctoral Accompaniment Seminar, which is for graduate students in their final year applying to Doctoral programs, the Praxis of Accompaniment, which is chaplain training, and HSP for Undergrads, which is for undergraduate students.

This program is in partnership with the PASOS Network and gives undergraduates the opportunity to take an upper-level course with a Latine/Hispanic professor who is currently teaching at an ATS school. They will then become part of a cohort and have the ability to discern next steps as they make a decision about graduate programs.

The Praxis of Accompaniment partners with surgeons in the United States and with medical professionals in Paraguay and Bolivia in order to increase access to safe, affordable surgery
and other essential health care. Students learn the nuance of providing pastoral care through the lens of theology, history, counseling, and Catholic social theory.
