Bobby Rivera, PhD, is a Nuyorican that teachs in the Theology and Religious Studies Department at St. John’s University, NY. Rivera’s research and teaching interests focus on Latine and Latin American theologies, Theology and Social Theories, and contemporary Christologies. He is the author of, Christ for the Excluded: Christology, Globalization, and Liberation, and is currently working on a project tentatively titled, “Teologia en La Brega: Theological Reflections on Debt, Disaster, and Diaspora.”
