Janay is a native New Yorker and first-generation Dominican-American psychotherapist at Manhattan Mindful. She holds a Master of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary and a Master of Social Work from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College. Her work explores the intersections of storytelling, trauma, and community building. She also served as founding President of the Hispanic Scholar Program Alumni Network, fostering reflection, connection, and collective growth among alumni.
